Asia's Got Talent 2015 Winner Is El Gamma Penumbra

Asia's Got Talent 2015 winner has been finally announced and it's no other than El Gamma Penumbra.

The shadow play group from the Philippines garnered the highest number of votes in the public voting held on May 7-11, 2015 to bag the grand prize which includes 100,000USD cash and a regular performance at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Traditional music group from Mongolia Khusugtun ended up in second place, while Filipina classical singer Gerphil Flores was named third.

The other grand-finalists were Chinese acrobats Gao Lin and Liu Xin, Japanese neo-traditional dance troupe Triqstar, 10-year-old Filipina singer Gwyneth Dorado, Singaporean tap dancers Dance Trilogy, Thai rock band The Talento and Filipino dancers Junior New System.

Hosted by Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez, Asia's Got Talent, the regional version of the Got Talent franchise, debuted on AXN Asia on March 12, 2015 and was aired across 20 countries in Asia. The panel of judges was comprised of Indonesian music icon Anggun, renowned composer David Foster, Spice Girls member Melanie C, and Taiwanese star Vanness Wu.
